Terms & Conditions
Preliminary Notice
These are preliminary terms and conditions. Final, complete terms will be published at a later date. By making a booking or enquiry, you accept these current terms.
1. Parties
These terms apply to all agreements between:

And any client (the dog owner) who makes use of our services.
2. Services
Happy Puppies offers the following dog care services in The Hague:
- Dog boarding — overnight stays at our home
- Dog daycare — full-day supervision during working hours
- Dog walking — structured walks in and around The Hague Centre
- Puppy care — dedicated care and socialisation for young dogs
All services are subject to a free meet & greet prior to the first booking, which Happy Puppies may use to assess suitability of the dog for our services.
3. Bookings & Confirmation
- Bookings are made via our contact form, email or WhatsApp
- A booking is confirmed only after explicit written confirmation from Happy Puppies
- Happy Puppies reserves the right to decline any booking at its own discretion
- We accommodate a limited number of dogs at a time to ensure quality care
4. Cancellation & Changes
The following cancellation policy applies:

| Less than 3 days before the booking | No refund |
| No-show | No refund; full amount invoiced |
In exceptional circumstances (e.g. sudden illness of the dog), we will always look for a fair solution together. Please contact us as soon as possible at hello@happypuppies.nl.
5. Payment
- Current pricing is listed on our website at happypuppies.nl/pricing
- Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise in writing
- In case of late payment, a reminder will be sent; persistent non-payment may result in recovery costs being charged
- Prices include VAT where applicable under Dutch law
6. Health & Vaccinations
For the safety of all dogs in our care, the following is required:
- Your dog must be up to date with core vaccinations (DHPP/combination vaccine and rabies where applicable)
- Your dog must be treated for fleas and ticks
- You must inform us of any health conditions, medications, allergies or behavioural notes that may affect care
- Dogs showing signs of contagious illness may be refused or isolated pending veterinary clearance
In case of a veterinary emergency, we will act in the best interest of your dog and contact you immediately. Emergency vet costs will be borne by the owner.
7. Liability
- Happy Puppies exercises the utmost care in looking after your dog. However, we cannot be held liable for illness, injury or accidents that occur despite reasonable precautions
- The owner remains liable for any damage caused by their dog to persons, animals or property
- Happy Puppies recommends that dog owners hold adequate third-party liability insurance (WA-verzekering) that covers their dog
- Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount paid for the relevant service
8. Dog Conduct & Right to Refuse
Happy Puppies reserves the right to:
- End a booking early if a dog displays consistent aggression or poses a risk to other animals or persons
- Refuse future bookings for dogs that have caused serious incidents
- Charge additional costs if exceptional circumstances require extra care or emergency services
In the event of early termination, the owner will be notified immediately and is responsible for collecting their dog as soon as possible.
9. Privacy
Happy Puppies processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR legislation. We never sell your data to third parties.
10. Applicable Law & Disputes
Dutch law applies to all agreements with Happy Puppies. Disputes will first be addressed through amicable consultation. If this does not lead to a resolution, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in The Hague.
